Hélène Paquet-Young

Director, Corporate Services

Hélène Paquet-Young is the Director, Corporate Services at the Federation.  

She joined the Federation in February 2021 after years in the international development sector, having worked with CARE, Oxfam, and Canada World Youth. During her time at Oxfam, Hélène oversaw the Finance and Administration functions of Oxfam Canada, then worked with Oxfam International to help develop and implement Oxfam’s global integrated risk management framework across the Oxfam confederation.  

Hélène holds a B.Comm from the University of Guelph and a M.A. in Public Administration from Carleton University. She is also a CPA and holds a CRM (Risk Management) designation. Hélène is also an Instructor at Carleton University’s Continuing Studies and Professional Development, teaching Risk Management.

Originally from the Eastern Townships, Hélène is an avid year-round vegetable gardener (even in Ottawa winters!), and loves to upcycle fabric and furniture.
