The Palestinian narrative is frequently drowned out by power dynamics that seek to silence and even erase their voices. This talk aims to elevate Palestinian Indigenous voices, particularly those from Gaza, in discussions surrounding the ongoing genocide and scholasticide—the deliberate destruction of educational institutions—as experienced by Palestinians. Drawing from firsthand accounts, testimonies, oral histories, and scholarly research, my presentation underscores the importance of valuing the personal as political and sheds light on the realities of living under a military regime that practices apartheid and genocide. Specifically, this presentation aims to shed light on the multifaceted impacts of military occupation and violence, oppression, and policies of cultural and physical genocide of Palestinian lives, communities, and educational systems.
