Kalabash is one of Toronto’s most innovative jazz collectives, blending Afro-Caribbean rhythms with contemporary jazz to create a bold, genre-bending sound. With instruments ranging from steel pan to saxophone and marimba, they deliver textured, high-energy sets that reflect the richness of Caribbean musical heritage. Members of Kalabash are leading artists in their own right, and together, they’ve become a festival favourite across Canada for their adventurous and uplifting performances.
