More than the mark: the choreographies and generosities of young children's drawing

This exhibition intends to make visible very young children's drawing as an interactive event of sounds, rhythms, movements, materials, gestures, marks, generosities, hospitalities, synchronicities, and relationalities. It situates drawing as inherently relational and composed together with others as if the act of drawing is about us rather than a self-centred I. This shifts the perceived foundations of drawing and what we think might matter, and opens spaces to consider how the drawing event is much more than the child's representational intent and the marks made.
